I’m thankful from the bottom of my heart to be able to share my gift and love for music with you. None of this would be possible without the Creator. It’s because of Him that I live, move and exist!

The Beginning: I remember sitting in church as a little girl watching my dad on the organ and directing the choir. Hours and hours I’d sit and watch him, listen to him. Perfect pitch, perfect ear. I wanted to look just like him, sound just like and play just like him. I used to tell my buddies…”I’m going to be just like my daddy, when I get big.” I’m big now Dad, I haven’t reached “your status” but one day…..I’m STILL gonna be like my daddy!” I’m thankful for my mothers. You have both instilled so much in me. You’ve helped me to remain focused and develop into a young woman. Thanks for your encouragement and thank you for allowing me to look into your mirrors. They have helped to shape me.


When I was a teenager, my father gave me a book called “Do What You Love, and the Money Will Come.” I’ve held fast to that concept, theory and belief. Now, I’m putting it into action. This has been my dream for most of my life. I never would have imagined the little guy who used to bite me and set “boobie” traps for buckets of water to fall on my new hair do, (hmmm, imagine that) would be the very one who is my inspiration and motivation to take this gift and finally share it with the world! Many of you know him as NEMO but I affectionately know him as just Trey (my middle brother). You are a musical genius. Your creativity absolutely wows me over and over dude! I am so proud to have you by my side!

NuWu Team, thank you for trusting me, for believing in me and for believing in yourselves! There are no words to express how I feel about each of you. Jazz, my cousin…who can hold you on the court and the sticks? Stevie CaSon, my cousin…you are way beyond your years man, your lyrics are “outrageous”! Tence, my adopted lil sister, you are truly a “wild card!” (You still owe me about 3 more’ guitar lessons)! Jack you are the newest to the team…you are phenomenal man! Welcome to the family!

For everyone who has touched our lives, made differences, inspired us, we will NEVER forget that there is truly…..”No Us Without U!”
